Easter Hunt

The plan for Easter Sunday was meant to be a trip to a National Trust and Cadbury sponsored Easter Egg Hunt.  But the weather forecast wasn't great, so we decided to do our own.

And to be honest I think an Easter Egg Hunt prepared by Aunty Nimi was always going to be a million times better than any public prepared event (even if I say so myself).

Admittedly I had gone a bit crazy with the amount of chocolate I had got for it.  We actually ran out of places to hide the different chocolate figures.

And we had to supersize the basket that Princess was to use to collect all the chocolate in.

Let's face it, the cute little paper bunny baskets weren't going to hold even a quarter of the chocolate I had got.

It took Princess a bit of time at the start to figure out that there was a lot of chocolate to find.  She was easily distracted by the chocolate bunny she found first.

But it didn't take much coaxing to find the remaining.  And I was impressed how creative she was in her search.  She even found the ones that I had hidden inside her castle.

I love the joy on her face with all this chocolate.  It's when the dimples show.

Especially when it was time to eat her findings.  So cute.
